Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Practice Nurse/APRN
JOB DESCRIPTION
Atlantic Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support the Breast Surgery services at Atlantic Breast Associates. This is a career opportunity for an experienced advanced practice professional who wants to join a well‑established surgery practice with a supportive and highly skilled team.
The advanced practice professional should be collaborative and well‑versed in all aspects of surgery. Primary responsibilities will include patient communication and conducting outpatient consultations. The ideal candidate will bring a positive and caring attitude, excellent communication skills, clinical expertise, and previous surgery experience. The APP must be comfortable performing wound care, aspirations, and punch biopsies. The schedule for this position is full‑time days with no call or weekends required.
QUALIFICATIONS- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- RNFA certification preferred
- 1–2 years of oncology or breast surgery experience preferred
- OR experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
