Nursing Educator; RN AMG CNO Group - Morristown

Principal Accountabilities

Focus on Vaccine management plus all other duties as assigned

• Ensures all on-the-job training is consistent with guidelines established
• Ensures that site trainers/preceptors have the knowledge, tools, and attitude to effectively train staff
• Acts as both a formal and informal consultant, assisting with the integration of new learning into clinical practice and serving as a resource by assisting clinical team members in identifying problems, identifying available internal and external educational resources, and selecting educational options
• Works with the Operations team in identifying changes that should be made in the clinical practice and facilitating the initiation of, adoption of, and adaption to change
• Strives for excellence in patient care by self-monitoring and, as necessary, to ensure the safety and well‑being of the patient; identifies existing and potential problems and takes effective actions
• Develops and maintains an awareness of needed improvements in patient care, procedures, equipment and supplies and makes recommendations
• Other relevant duties as assigned

Required:

• BSN
• BLS
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a hospital or ambulatory setting as a Registered Nurse
• Valid New Jersey Nursing License

Preferred:

• Master's Degree
• Experience with vaccine management
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
• Patient, compassionate nature
• Ability to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and nurses
• Proficiency in computer‑based data management programs and information systems
