Job Overview
Atlantic Health is seeking a Per Diem Electrophysiology Physician Assistant to join Cardiac Services at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. The role involves providing advanced cardiac care, evaluating patients pre‑procedure and post‑procedure, teaching, entering admission orders, and admitting patients for medical therapy.
Saturdays are required with the opportunity for additional days.
Responsibilities- Assist cardiologists and electrophysiologists during procedure planning and post‑procedure care.
- Perform pre‑procedure patient evaluations.
- Provide post‑procedure monitoring and care.
- Enter admission orders and admit patients for medical therapy.
- Teach and mentor staff as required.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience.
- Master's degree required.
- Current PA certification from an accredited program.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
