Nurse Practitioner, PD, Cardiac Access Unit - Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Position Overview

Atlantic Health is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner to join the Cardiac Access Unit at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. In this role, the NP will work collaboratively with a robust Heart Care team, managing, supervising, and supporting patients in the Cardiac Access, Cardiac Extended, and Cardiac Observation units.

• Collaboration with the Cardiac Access Unit team
• Management and supervision of patient care in the Cardiac Access, Cardiac Extended, and Cardiac Observation units
• Support of patients undergoing cardiac surgeries or procedures
• Implementation of evidence‑based cardiac practices in a fast‑paced environment

• Master's degree as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
• NP or PA Certification with a New Jersey license
• DEA and CDS credentials
• ACLS and BLS certification
• Minimum of 2‑3 years of critical‑care or cardiology experience
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as a team player
