Atlantic Breast Associates – Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Atlantic Health, one of the foremost healthcare organizations in New Jersey, is actively seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (NP or PA) to provide invaluable support to Breast Surgery services at Atlantic Breast Associates. This represents a remarkable career opportunity for an experienced advanced practice professional who desires to join a well‑established surgery practice with a supportive and highly skilled team.
The advanced practice professional should be collaborative and versed in all aspects of surgery. Primary responsibilities will encompass patient communication and conducting outpatient consultations. The ideal candidate will bring a positive and caring attitude, excellent communication skills, clinical expertise, and previous surgery experience. The APP must be comfortable with performing wound care, aspirations, and punch biopsies. The schedule for this position is full‑time days with no call or weekends required.
Qualifications- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification preferred
- 1–2 years of oncology or breast surgery experience is preferred
- OR experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
