Job Description
Morristown Medical Center's Registered Nurse Periop Fellowship Residency Program is one year focused on building a solid foundation for your Operating Room nursing career.
The program is integrated with AORN's Periop 101 program which features online courses, instructor‑led classes and a skills lab. This is followed by a 6‑month rotation in both the Scrub and Circulator Nurse role.
A Periop 101 certificate with 40 continuing education credits will be awarded after successful completion of modules and final exam.
This cohort will begin September 7 2026
Entry level offer rate is $43.00/hour
Program Criteria- Non‑BSN graduates will be required to complete their BSN within 5 years of employment
- All participants are asked to agree to a 2‑year employment commitment at Atlantic Health System
- An official transcript and two letters of recommendation from nursing instructors will be required once you are in the interview process
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Program required
- BSN or equivalent preferred
- All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date
- A valid NJ Nursing License or a valid Compact Nursing License required upon hire
- BLS certification required
- Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Coverage (22.5 hours per week or above for full‑time and part‑time team members)
