Job Description
Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.
Principal AccountabilitiesEducation
: BSN preferred. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution.
Experience
: 2-3 years of ED Experience or Acute Care Experience.
Certificates
:
- BLS required.
- ACLS required prior to completing ED orientation.
- PALS to be completed within one year of hire date except for pediatrics.
Licenses
:
Valid NJ RN license or compact license.

:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patient and compassionate nature.
- Ability to operate as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer-based data management programs and information systems.
