Job Description
The Program Manager - Nursing for the OB/GYN Menopause Center is responsible for the operational, clinical, and strategic management of menopause and midlife women's health services within the organization. This role provides leadership to nursing and interdisciplinary staff while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals experiencing perimenopause, menopause, and related health conditions.
Responsibilities- Connect patients with providers and resources they may need.
- Provide a comprehensive assessment of patients' concerns/needs related to menopause at pivot medical visits across the continuum, including barriers to care, fears and lack of understanding.
- Facilitate timely coordination of appointments, tests and procedures and communicate any concerns to the appropriate providers.
- Help develop assessment tools, guidelines, pathways and algorithms across the continuum of care of all disciplines.
- Develop in conjunction with providers and other support staff, support groups and education programs for patients, their families and/or care givers.
- Provide education, resources, community offerings and other programs that can support the patient, families and/or caregivers as needed.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance the patient, family and/or caregivers experience across the spectrum.
- Be the conduit between the patients and providers/services.
