Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to join the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute, Cardiac Surgery Program at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. The role involves pre‑ and post‑operative critical‑care support for cardiac surgery patients in a 24‑bed unit, working with surgeons, intensivists, NPs, and PAs.

• Provide critical‑care nursing care and monitoring for cardiac surgery patients.
• Perform central line, arterial line, and other procedural interventions.
• Initiate appropriate orders and diagnostic tests based on clinical findings.
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

• Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
• Licensed NP or PA in New Jersey with valid certification.
• DEA and CDS registrations required.
• ACLs and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of critical‑care or cardiology experience.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Self‑motivated team player able to work independently.

Hourly rate: $61.18 – $107.69.
