Job Overview

Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non‑profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Department of Surgery at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. The Department of Surgery is busy and progressive, utilizing the latest technology to deliver outstanding patient care. The primary role of the Nurse Practitioner is to support surgical house staff in the care of patients who require surgical consultation, pre‑ and post‑operative management, under an attending surgeon's supervision, with or without house staff involvement.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients, supporting surgical house staff in managing surgical patients requiring consultation, pre‑ and post‑operative care under attending supervision.

• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• 1.5 or more years' experience in Nursing or a relevant area
• Must have excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
