Healthcare Nursing, RN Nurse
Job Summary
Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.
Principal Accountabilities- Provides patient education and performs chart reviews for COPD and Pneumonia patients and readmissions
- Runs AHMMC COPD and Pneumonia readmission review committee monthly
- Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS) certification required to provide CTTS counseling to AH MMC inpatients referred for counseling
- Better Breathers and Quit Smoking program lead
- Pre and intra op procedural bronchoscopy coverage, as needed
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
- Bachelor's Degree of Nursing preferred; all ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date
- Master's degree in nursing preferred
- Current NJ (New Jersey) Registered Nurse License required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS) certified preferred or required to get within 2 months of start date
- Minimum of 1 year Acute care RN experience
- Procedural/ bronchoscopy experience
- Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Coverage (22.5 hours per week or above for full-time and part-time team members)
