American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Stepdown unit requiring at least 1 year of intermediate care/step-down experience and an active NJ or compact RN license.

• Work in the K3 Stepdown Unit of a hospital setting
• PM shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Every 3rd weekend required
• 1 summer holiday coverage required
• Floating as needed, including to a nearby sister hospital
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic for charting

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• At least 1 year of Intermediate Care/Step-down experience as a Registered Nurse required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Excellent communication and computer skills required

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Collaborate with the healthcare team through a Shared Governance model to promote evidence-based care
