We are seeking a compassionate and skilled CNA Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Our award-winning center is proud of its convenient location next to Morristown Medical Center, providing seamless transitions between settings and access to the region’s best medical care. Our newly renovated, 5-story center features state-of-the-art care and rehabilitation services, including a new TCU Unit with telemetry care and a dedicated subacute floor with mostly private suites.

Job Summary:

As a CNA Certified Nursing Assistant at Morristown Post Acute, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, promoting independence, dignity, and comfort. Your dedication to delivering high-quality care will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist with meals, snacks, and hydration as needed
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
  • Support resident mobility, balance, and transfer activities
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in resident-centered care conferences to ensure holistic care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care
Requirements:
  • Current CNA certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassion and empathy for residents and their families
