Registered Nurse, RN, Weekend Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse, RN, Weekend Supervisor to join our dedicated team at Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of care is delivered to our residents, while also serving as a role model for our nursing staff.

About the Role:

As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our post-acute care facility on weekends. This includes:

  • Supervising a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care

  • Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

  • Coordinating patient care activities, including medication administration, treatments, and therapies

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records, including patient charts and reports

  • Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed

  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop individualized care plans

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient charts and reports

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
