Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role based in Morristown, NJ. The LPN will provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with treatments, and supporting activities of daily living in accordance with care plans. The role includes documenting care accurately, reporting changes in condition to registered nurses and physicians, and following all clinical protocols and safety guidelines.

The LPN will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, communicate with patients and families, and help promote a comfortable, respectful, and supportive environment. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with admissions and discharges, participating in quality improvement efforts, and contributing to ongoing care coordination.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LPN license in the state of New Jersey and eligibility to practice without restriction.
• Demonstrated clinical skills in basic nursing care, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs.
• Strong documentation and electronic health record (EHR) skills to maintain accurate, timely patient records.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ability to follow established care plans, clinical protocols, and infection prevention and control procedures.
• Experience in post-acute, long-term care, assisted living, home care, or memory care settings is preferred.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and respond calmly to urgent or changing situations.
• Commitment to person-centered care, respect for diverse backgrounds, and adherence to ethical and professional standards.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with common healthcare software systems.
• CPR certification and completion of required continuing education, or willingness to obtain as needed.
