Position Overview:

The Biomarkers & Precision Medicine group (Translational Medicine Unit) seeks an experienced Biomarker and Precision Medicine Lead to develop and implement translational medicine strategies for Immunology & Inflammation. Identify and validate biomarkers that predict patient response, demonstrate molecular activity, and correlate with clinical outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop biomarker and precision medicine strategies for R&D projects
  • Design biomarker implementation approaches in clinical studies (e.g., omics, bioimaging)
  • Translate biological pathways to clinical markers
  • Review and interpret complex clinical and non-clinical data
  • Identify and validate novel biomarkers for patient selection and monitoring
  • Lead translational medicine sub-teams and coordinate biomarker identification efforts
  • Ensure timely execution of biomarker studies within budget constraints
  • Select optimal platforms/methodologies for biomarker data generation
  • Monitor progress, troubleshoot technical challenges, and maintain project documentation/regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; engage KOLs/partners
  • Present results internally/externally; contribute to regulatory documents and publications
  • Support business development related to biomarker strategies
Required Qualifications:
  • MD, MD/PhD, or PhD with 5+ years in translational and/or clinical research
  • Immunology expertise (preferably dermatologic and/or respiratory diseases)
  • Strong understanding of biomarker development/implementation in clinical trials
  • Experience with biomarker platforms and technologies
  • Proven translational research track record
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bioinformatics/computational methods; biomarker assay development for clinical use
  • Publication record; regulatory interaction experience
Working Conditions:

Office-based role in the US or France (Global Hybrid Policy)
