Position Overview:
The Biomarkers & Precision Medicine group (Translational Medicine Unit) seeks an experienced Biomarker and Precision Medicine Lead to develop and implement translational medicine strategies for Immunology & Inflammation. Identify and validate biomarkers that predict patient response, demonstrate molecular activity, and correlate with clinical outcomes.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop biomarker and precision medicine strategies for R&D projects
- Design biomarker implementation approaches in clinical studies (e.g., omics, bioimaging)
- Translate biological pathways to clinical markers
- Review and interpret complex clinical and non-clinical data
- Identify and validate novel biomarkers for patient selection and monitoring
- Lead translational medicine sub-teams and coordinate biomarker identification efforts
- Ensure timely execution of biomarker studies within budget constraints
- Select optimal platforms/methodologies for biomarker data generation
- Monitor progress, troubleshoot technical challenges, and maintain project documentation/regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; engage KOLs/partners
- Present results internally/externally; contribute to regulatory documents and publications
- Support business development related to biomarker strategies
- MD, MD/PhD, or PhD with 5+ years in translational and/or clinical research
- Immunology expertise (preferably dermatologic and/or respiratory diseases)
- Strong understanding of biomarker development/implementation in clinical trials
- Experience with biomarker platforms and technologies
- Proven translational research track record
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Bioinformatics/computational methods; biomarker assay development for clinical use
- Publication record; regulatory interaction experience
Office-based role in the US or France (Global Hybrid Policy)
