Main Responsibilities:
- Lead Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR) for AYVAKIT (avapritinib) in Systemic Mastocytosis and assigned emerging pipeline assets within Global Rare HEVA.
- Develop and execute asset-level HEOR strategies: translate Target Value Propositions/access strategies into evidence hypotheses, requirements, and generation plans addressing payer/provider/unmet needs.
- Design and execute HEOR research (economic modeling, database/observational research, COA development/validation, systematic literature reviews, evidence synthesis, value dossier development) and operationalize evidence generation plans (e.g., IEGP).
- Partner with multi-functional global brand/development teams on clinical research programs; provide trial design recommendations; provide SME input to commercial/medical/market access/strategy; align with US HEVA team.
- Build relationships with payers and decision-makers; support HTA and reimbursement interactions; engage KOLs and external partners.
- Publish and present results; communicate findings to stakeholders; mentor junior colleagues; maintain compliance with relevant SOPs/laws.
- Advanced degree (PhD/MD/MS/MPH/PharmD) in a scientific discipline.
- 5 years’ experience in health economics/outcomes research (or related).
- Global product launch experience; knowledge of payer evidence requirements/value demonstration.
- Demonstrated HEOR methods experience and evidence-to-launch support.
- Proficiency in evidence-based medicine, clinical research methodology, economic modeling, and COAs.
- Experience translating Target Value Propositions/access strategies into evidence plans.
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications.
- Knowledge of global HTA processes; HTA submission experience preferred.
Skills:
- Understanding of disease physiopathology, drug MOA, epidemiology, biostatistics/statistical programming, COAs, SLRs, and network meta-analyses.
- Proficiency with HEOR digital tools/data platforms.
- Strong communication/presentation; compliance/ethics; entrepreneurial, team-oriented problem solving.
