• Works safely in the facility and notifies appropriate person of unsafe practices or conditions and follows up to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
• Able to troubleshoot, identify failed components and repair electrical equipment.
• Understands and troubleshoots DC voltage up to 24
  
  VDC and repairs to component level.
• Understands and troubleshoots AC voltage up to 480
  
  VAC and repairs to component level.
• Performs preventative maintenance functions to improve machine output and performance.
• Works effectively in a team environment.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Willing to work Saturdays as needed.
• Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe, and electrical systems.
• Studies blueprints, sketches, machine parts, or specifications to determine defective items and required repairs.
• Visually inspects and tests machinery to detect or prevent wear, misalignment, or other problems.
• Detects equipment malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
• Realigns and adjusts equipment and components.
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment.
• Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment.

• 1+ years’ experience working as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial environment.
• Experience working on electrical systems up to 480volts.
• Able to demonstrate use of electrical meters and all of their functions.
• Knowledge of 3‑phase voltage and how to troubleshoot.
• Knowledge of DC theory and ability to troubleshoot.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical concepts.
• Experience working with shop equipment, wood, metal, and/or sheet metal.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot to component level.
• Capability to climb and use ladders.
• Capacity to carry or maneuver 50+ pounds.
• Ability to maneuver in confined spaces; twist, bend, stoop, or stand for long periods of time.
• Manual dexterity and excellent hand‑eye coordination.
• Certification or ability to drive a forklift.
• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals.
• Verbal communication skills with team members.
• Good written communication skills.
• Logical processing of thoughts.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Outlook.
• Experience with robotic training, HVAC and pipe fitting, boilers, environmental chambers, and CNC mills is a plus.
