Speech Pathologist ; CCC-SLP): Pediatric, Per Diem, Atlantic Rehab Morristown

Job Description

Atlantic Health is seeking a fully licensed Pediatric Speech Pathologist to join our award‑winning Atlantic Rehabilitation team in Morristown. This position provides therapeutic services to young patients with a variety of diagnoses, including infants who need specialized assistance with feeding. Hours vary and may extend into the evening. • Diagnose and evaluate speech and language skills as related to educational, medical, social, and psychological factors.
• Plan, direct, or conduct habilitative and rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency of individuals with communication problems of organic and nonorganic etiology.
• Provide counseling and guidance and language development therapy to disabled individuals.
• Review individual file to obtain background information prior to evaluation to determine appropriate tests and to ensure that adequate information is available.
• Administer, score, and interpret specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Develop and implement individualized plans for assigned clients to meet individual needs, interests, and abilities.
• Evaluate and monitor individuals, using audiovisual equipment; review treatment plans and assess individual performance to modify, change, or write new programs.
• Maintain records as required by law, institution policy, and administrative regulations.
• Attend meetings, conferences, and participate in other activities to promote professional growth.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program or equivalent.
• Full license to practice Speech Pathology (CCC‑SLP).

• Outpatient Pediatric Experience.
• Experience in Infant Feeding.
