.Net Core Software Engineer

Overview

Accenture Flex offers local fixed‑duration project‑based work in your metro area, reducing the need to travel. You will apply your skills to help drive business transformation for leading organizations and communities, working with a highly skilled, diverse network across Accenture businesses.

• Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Execute story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimate work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.
• Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
• Ensure software is developed to meet functional, non‑functional and compliance requirements and solutions are well designed with maintainability, ease of integration and testing built‑in from the outset. Demonstrate strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Onsite 60% (3 days) and remote 40% (2 days) per week. Five days of Time Away are mandated per calendar quarter.

• Minimum 5 years of work experience.
• Proficient in Linux, Tomcat, Oracle, IIS, Windows, .NET.
• Good development skills in Java, J2EE, Kafka, REST/SOAP services.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree.

Compensation varies depending on location, role, skill set and experience level. Hourly ranges are provided by location below.
