Sr Tax Accountant

• Maintain business licenses.
• Process property and real estate tax filings and appeals.
• File annual reports and audit defense.
• Handle 1099 filings and compliance.
• Assist with preparation of corporate tax returns and special projects.
• Manage renewal process and database for business licenses.
• Prepare account reconciliations.
• Prepare and file personal business property tax returns.
• Prepare and file gross receipts tax returns.
• Prepare, file, and manage approximately 700 Form 1099 returns.
• Develop and improve tax processes.
• Audit defense activities.
• Prepare corporate State Income Tax Returns.
• Significant involvement in special projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with tax department constituents and keep them informed.
• File approximately 1,600 returns per year.
• Handle Foreign Bank Account Reporting (FBAR).

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Experience with financial systems, preferably SAP.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Income Tax.
• Experience with One Source Income Tax Software.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Base Salary $101,300 - $125,100

The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on performance.
