Accu Force is seeking a Law Firm Administrator to fill a Direct Hire role with one of our premier clients. Position OverviewThe Firm Administrator serves as a key operational leader overseeing day-to-day office functions, staff supervision, and administrative management. You will directly lead administrative support staff and legal assistants, partner with financial team members, assist leadership with strategic planning, and ensure a smooth, professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership & HR:
Oversee hourly administrative staff and legal assistants; direct full lifecycle HR duties including onboarding, interview scheduling, record keeping, and benefit administration (401k, health, wage surveys). - Office Operations & Facilities:
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, manage office supplies, maintain facility standards, and coordinate vendor agreements and equipment repairs. - Financial Oversight:
Collaborate with leadership and accounting to create and manage annual budgets, review weekly/monthly financial performance, and assist with billing and past-due collections. - Technology & Records:
Oversee physical and digital document management and drive continuous improvement in office technology. - Risk & Compliance:
Maintain safe office conditions and manage risk, including proper professional liability, premises, and cybersecurity insurance policies. - Meetings & Culture:
Prepare agendas for and participate in partnership meetings, foster positive staff morale, and organize team-building events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Legal Studies, or a related field OR minimum three years experience in law Human Resource Management or Law Firm Administration
- Proven track record as an Office Manager, Human Resources Manager, or in a similar administrative leadership role.
- Must have proven prior experience with managing large and diverse teams.
- Superior interpersonal and leadership capabilities; exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential information with absolute integrity.
- Fluent in modern office software, document management, and business communication tools.
- Prior experience in budget management and basic financial reporting.
- Knowledge of standard HR processes, employee relations, and benefit systems.
- Forward-thinking problem-solver with strong independent judgment.
