Position Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the practice. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong healthcare financial management experience who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions
  • Monitor practice financial health and optimize profitability, cash flow, and sustainability
  • Oversee revenue cycle management and ensure accurate billing, coding, and collections processes
  • Manage financial compliance, audits, and reporting in accordance with healthcare regulations
  • Develop performance dashboards and KPIs to support data-driven decision making
  • Advise on strategic initiatives including service-line expansion, technology investments, and physician compensation models
  • Partner closely with clinical and operational leaders to support a high-performance organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent credential strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of senior-level financial leadership experience in healthcare (physician practice preferred)
  • Proven expertise in revenue cycle oversight, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Strong knowledge of medical practice operations, payer reimbursement, and healthcare compliance
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills
  • Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced, evolving environment
