We are seeking a dedicated, skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team. - Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Perform medical imaging, including X‑rays and ensure proper documentation of patient records.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and manage patient files in compliance with regulations.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean working environment throughout the office.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post‑treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the office.
- Utilize dental software systems for patient management and record keeping.
- Support patients with a friendly demeanor, ensuring their comfort during visits.
- Stay updated on dental terminology and advancements in dental assisting.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in an office is preferred, but will train the right candidate.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and familiarity with dental terminology.
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
- Experience with dental management software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in dental documentation.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and infection control protocols within the dental office.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, including children, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team‑oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
