Your Contribution- Assist with production control, measurement, and planning.
- Develop task analysis, cost analysis, and proposals for implementation of new processes or improvements to existing processes.
- Develop PFMEA’s, Control Plans, etc. for successful launch of programs and evaluate these documents regularly for updates.
- Assist the Production Part Approval Process for new products and changes to existing products.
- Develop, plan, and model alternate processing methods to test feasibility of new applications of system components and recommend implementation of improved procedures, process improvements, and set‑up reduction techniques.
- Lead the Strategic Plan / Economic Plan development, analysis, and presentation preparation.
- Analyze workforce utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules to determine efficient utilization of workers, equipment, and materials.
- Confere with established personnel to implement standard operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.
- Participate in piston/assembly drawing reviews and complete Part Feasibility Analysis.
- Create and maintain SAP materials, bills of material, and routings; assist with resolution of SAP issues as needed.
- Confere with workers in other departments such as marketing, training and development, and engineering to provide technical information.
- Participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions as needed to stay apprised of new developments in the field.
- Develop and conduct related equipment training programs and demonstrate skills to trainees (serve as a mentor or coach to established personnel).
- Monitor function, cycle time, and other pertinent parameters of production equipment to maintain OEE files and monthly OEE reporting.
- Perform capacity analysis and maintain customer capacity database requirements.
- Organize and submit “customer‑paid” tooling documentation to the customer.
- Prepare reports, charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate and evaluate workflow, routing, material handling, and machine utilization.
- Perform audits (Safety, Quality, 5S, etc.) as required.
- Assist Quality with the maintenance of the department Engineering Change Log.
- Attend and support internal and external Customer Team Meetings as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four‑year college or university and one to three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
