Responsibilities- Support the Moorestown Manufacturing Operations work centers with performance & efficiency reporting, cycle time reduction, ergonomics, Environmental Safety & Health considerations, and other productivity improvements.
- Improve product flow, make recommendations with respect to methods and assembly process in a team environment applying Lean and 6 Sigma principles.
- Support Manufacturing Engineering evaluations for space requirements, factory layouts, capital equipment, capacity, and related initiatives.
- Perform cost evaluations.
- Provide Solumina/MES system and database support as required.

Additional Qualifications / ResponsibilitiesWHO YOU ARE
You are a collaborative engineer who brings organization wide improvements, blending strong technical, project management and presentation skills to keep our manufacturing processes running smoothly. A level 2 employee typically has 1+ years of related experience.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or we will consider equivalent related experience
- Demonstrated project management skills and solving technical problems
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and CAD software
Please Note:
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, flow, 6S, and continuous improvement (Green or Black Belt certification)
- Demonstrated technical writing and presentation skills
- Experience with Production systems (EPDM, SAP, Solumina, Apriso) and CAD Software
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for aeronautics or defense products
