Field Engineer

Coordinate daily field activities with general contractors and subcontractors to ensure project progress and compliance. Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and construction documents to support field execution. Provide technical design support, including drafting revisions, clarifications, and engineering calculations as needed. Perform on-site inspections to verify work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project standards. Prepare and maintain field reports, progress documentation, and engineering summaries.

Identify and communicate construction issues, recommending practical engineering solutions. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to maintain schedule alignment and resolve field challenges.

• Experience with civil engineering firm for 2 years
• Degree in civil engineering
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Comfortable with on-site work in NYC 5 days a week

• Bachelor's in civil engineering
• Experience in land development, construction management, grading, and civil design

The role requires working on job sites from 7 AM to 3 PM, with occasional Saturdays. This is an hourly role, and compensation is provided for any hours worked beyond the standard schedule.

This is a Permanent position based out of Morristown, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $75,000.00/yr. medical vision dental 401k

This is a fully onsite position in Morristown, NJ.

This position is anticipated to close on Mar 4, 2026.
