Role OverviewAs a Civil Engineer and vital member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to design horizontal and vertical track alignments, perform civil design calculations, develop details, prepare sketches, conduct impact analyses, and provide quantity calculations for pre‑construction cost estimates on rail/transit projects. You’ll work on projects from concept to completion, creating design and drawings that support our clients’ overall project goals and helping develop contract documents and construction phase services.
Responsibilities• Design horizontal and vertical track alignments and related civil infrastructure.
• Perform civil design calculations and prepare detailed drawings and sketches.
• Conduct impact analyses and provide quantity calculations for cost estimating.
• Support the development of contract documents for construction.
• Review contractor submittals and requests for information during the construction phase.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Engineer in Training Certification (EIT)
- Demonstrated years of professional experience on rail and transit projects
- Professional expertise with Micro Station and/or InRail (or AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of AREMA and local railroad criteria
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong problem‑solving mindset in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong focus on client service
- Support plan set development meeting client expectations

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
