ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide technical support and competitor comparison/analysis.
* Perform thermal calculations for electric, electrode, steam, and hot water boiler systems.
* Analyze and review customer specifications both from a technical and commercial perspective.
* Work directly with Vapor Power / Precision Boilers Sales and Business Development Managers to support our independent sales representatives and end customers.
* Prepare cost analysis' and collaborate with management to define pricing strategies.
* Clarify technical deviations and negotiate performance requirements.
* Translate customer specifications into engineered solutions.
* Generate budgetary quotations and final bid proposals in a timely fashion.
* Maintain active proposals and quoting pipeline.
* Assist project management team for active orders.
* Collaborate with engineering department on customer submittal drawing packages.
* Coordinate with commercial operations for order entry flow.
* Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
* Research and understand customer applications to optimize the engineering of the system.
* Assists with research and development of new products and services.
* Support assigned representatives with on-site or project specified activities.
* Prepare design bid packages for engineered solution projects
