Manufacturing Engineer

- Involve in mechanical/electrical projects and installations, working closely with plant millwrights, electricians, and mechanics.
- Participate in manufacturing process improvements and troubleshoot production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Participate in computer‑integrated manufacturing and information systems projects including automation, robotics, and process/inventory control.
- Assist in identifying component specifications, locating vendors, and procuring parts/systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Solid Works to draft machine parts, assemblies, and layouts, and update existing engineering drawings.
- Write procedures, assemble charts, diagrams, and directions for technical tasks.
- Support the maintenance department planning functions using data analysis and CMMS.
- Assist in the design and programming of manufacturing control systems.
- Use mechanical engineering skills for general plant and manufacturing support.
- Assist in research and planning for capital projects.
- Serve as assistant project manager during capital projects.
- Assist the Engineering Manager and other department employees with additional duties as required.
Location:
Onsite position at the Morristown, TN Facility.
- Have or will obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Technology or Business by May
2026 (or December
2026). - Previous internship experience (preferably in Manufacturing or a related functional area).
- Proven leadership experience.
- Desire to work in a Manufacturing environment.
- Technical aptitude.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
The annual base salary range for Non‑Technical Degrees is between $61,500 and $65,000. The annual base salary range for Technical Degrees is between $72,000 and $77,500.
