Your Main ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Mechanical Engineer, NI is responsible for designing and applying solutions using engineering fundamentals and established best practices. You will be a critical link in the project life cycle, providing technical support, task management, and innovation in mechanical engineering.
- Engineering Design & Technical Application:
Develop and finalize system designs, calculations, and component selections using engineering fundamentals, applicable codes, and company standards. Apply established technical solutions and modify designs to meet project requirements. Analyze and resolve complex technical topics across design, manufacturing, and installation. - Workload & Deliverable Management:
Manage multiple concurrent projects to meet contract requirements and Service Level Agreements; plan, prioritize, and execute engineering tasks; maintain accountability for the accuracy, quality, and completeness of all technical documentation and deliverables. - Project Execution & Customer
Experience:
Support the project lifecycle by aligning engineering solutions with project objectives and customer expectations. Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, field operations, and manufacturing teams, and communicate technical information clearly to ensure a positive internal and external customer experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field (required).
Experience- 0–2 years in the elevator industry or a similar industry.
- 0–2 years working with CAD software.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal, written, and technical report writing).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Knowledge of mechanical system design and analysis.
- Knowledge of architectural/structural drawings.
- Positive and professional attitude in a demanding environment.
Travel up to 10% domestically.

$71,200 - $75,000 per year. The range may be adjusted based on experience, education, location, and alignment with business priorities. This position includes an annual performance‑based bonus and is eligible for variable incentives.
