Join a Cutting-Edge Technology Patent PracticeAn established intellectual property boutique is seeking an experienced Patent Agent with substantive patent preparation and prosecution experience involving quantum computing .
The practice represents innovative technology companies developing next-generation products across quantum computing, cybersecurity, cryptography, semiconductors, software, AI, and other advanced technologies. This position offers significant responsibility, direct client interaction, and sophisticated patent work.
Role & Responsibilities- Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.
- Work directly with inventors and engineers to understand complex technologies and develop strong patent claims.
- Prepare Office Action responses and manage applications throughout prosecution.
- Assist clients with patent strategy and portfolio development.
- Develop and expand client relationships.
Actual quantum computing patent preparation and prosecution experience is a key requirement.

- 3+ years of substantive patent preparation and prosecution experience.
- Demonstrated experience drafting and prosecuting quantum computing patent applications.

- B.S. or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science,Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
- USPTO registration required.
- Strong patent drafting, technical writing, and client communication skills.
- Some portable patent prosecution business preferred.
- Expected base salary: $120,000–$180,000 , depending on experience, technical background, portable business, and overall qualifications.
