We are partnering with a growing financial institution to hire a Senior Private Wealth Advisor to support and expand an affluent client base through a relationship‑led, planning‑focused advisory model.
This role is designed for an experienced advisor who is comfortable owning client relationships end‑to‑end, delivering holistic wealth advice, and growing business through referrals and trusted networks. The advisor will act as the primary point of contact for clients while partnering with internal specialists to deliver comprehensive solutions across investments, planning, and insurance.
The Role- Serve as the primary advisor for an affluent client base (generally $3–20M net worth
), delivering comprehensive wealth planning and investment guidance - Build and maintain a pipeline of new business through client referrals, COIs, and self‑sourced opportunities (roughly 50%+)
- Lead ongoing client reviews and proactively advise through market conditions, life events, and evolving goals
- Partner closely with internal SMEs across asset allocation, alternatives, brokerage, and planning
- Operate within a hub‑and‑spoke advisory model that supports collaboration rather than siloed production
- Represent the firm professionally in the community and through referral networks
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and internal policies
- 7+ years of experience advising affluent or HNW clients
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to own and grow client relationships
- Comfortable self‑sourcing business while also leveraging internal partnerships
- Collaborative, client‑first mindset — team connectivity and culture matter here
- Experience in a bank, private bank, or wirehouse advisory environment is a plus
- Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent) required
- Flexibility on exact licensing mix for the right candidate
- Base salary: ~$150k–$200k (depending on experience)
- Revenue credits paid across advisory, brokerage, and insurance products (category‑weighted grid)
