AWS Mainframe Modernization Architect

You Are:

As a Mainframe Modernization Architect, you will play a critical role in helping enterprise clients transform their legacy mainframe environments into modern, cloud-native architectures. You will leverage your deep expertise in mainframe technologies and modernization strategies to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions on leading cloud platforms. This position requires strong technical leadership, hands-on experience with mainframe systems, and a passion for driving innovation through cloud adoption.

• Define target-state architectures for migrating mainframe workloads using approaches such as replatforming , refactoring, and re-architecting.

• Create modernization roadmaps and reference architectures aligned with client business objectives .

• Design hybrid solutions integrating mainframe systems with distributed and cloud-native environments.

Travel may be required for role. Travel is 0-100% depending on client requirements.

• A m inimum of 10 years years of hands-on experience with AWS Solutions, Cloud Migration, Application Modernization and/or Data & AI transformation programs covering both functional and technical aspects

• Professional-level cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Minimum of 5 years experience with modernization tools such as Blu Age, Micro Focus, or equivalent frameworks.

• Minimum 5 years experience in microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.

• Strong communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associates degree, 6 years of work experience.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
