Job Title: R&D Solution Architect – Digital Clinical Development Operations
Location: Morristown, NJ

Main Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the design and implementation of all solutions for clinical operations.
- Ensure alignment with architecture strategy and adhere to governance standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and clinical experts to understand requirements and challenges from a functional and technical perspective.
- Streamline and simplify existing architecture, delivering reusable services and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and other domains to ensure complete and operable solutions that align with business processes.
- Provide clear and detailed leadership for clinical development architecture within projects.
- Evaluate product usefulness and cost in the supplier selection process.
- Create and maintain current and target‑state architecture roadmaps aligned with business needs.
- Responsible for establishing the strategic direction, choosing technologies, and setting standards for the clinical development domain.
- Good understanding of existing IT technologies, data types, and ontologies at Sanofi R&D.
- Extensive background in designing, developing, and optimizing IT solutions.
- Demonstrated understanding of processes and workflows in the Clinical domain.
- Willing, ready and enthusiastic to bring digitalization to the Clinical community.
- Global/multi‑cultural experience.
- Strong vendor relationship management skills.
- Solid experience in Solution Architecture.
- Experience with GxP, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations and the ability to ensure compliance with these regulations in design and implementation of IT solutions.
- Proven ability to translate functional requirements into technical/solution design, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Sanofi’s standards technologies (Snowflake, Git Hub, IICS, Python, Openshift, React
JS, SQL, AWS, Azure). - Ability to work collaboratively as a team player, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Demonstrated professional and reliable behavior, consistently delivering high‑quality work and meeting deadlines.
- 5‑8 years of experience in Solution Architecture.
