Vice President of Sales – Lead, Grow, and Drive Success!

Our client, a 100+ year-old, family-owned distributor, is searching for a Vice President of Sales to lead and elevate their sales function across the Eastern U.S. With a vast inventory covering plumbing, hardware, tools, electrical, paint, building materials, lawn & garden, and outdoor living products, they deliver value to their dealer network through their owned transportation fleet—and they need a visionary sales leader to continue that legacy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead & Develop – Build and coach a high-performing sales team while driving a culture of excellence.
  • Drive Revenue Growth – Set ambitious targets and develop strategic sales initiatives that move the needle.
  • Expand Market Reach – Optimize sales strategies to expand customer acquisition and enterprise sales.
  • Enhance Operations – Oversee CRM (BOLT), streamline processes, and analyze sales metrics to improve efficiency.
  • Shape the Future – Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced Sales Leader – 10+ years in sales leadership, ideally in distribution, wholesale, or B2B sales.
  • Strategic & Results-DrivenProven track record of scaling sales operations and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Mentor & Motivator – Strong background in recruiting, training, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Financial & Business Acumen – Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and aligning sales strategies with company growth.
  • Exceptional Communicator – Ability to collaborate with executive leadership and build lasting client relationships.
