Artech is seeking a high-impact Sales Director to lead and grow our System Integrator (SI) portfolio within the IT staffing business
. This role owns full revenue, gross margin, and P&L responsibility while driving strategic expansion within large and mid-tier System Integrator (SI) accounts
.
The Sales Director will act as a business unit leader
, responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing SI-led staffing programs while developing and leading a high-performing sales team. This position is part of the Executive Leadership Team and plays a critical role in shaping long-term sales and market strategy.
- Own and drive growth of the System Integrator portfolio, expanding existing relationships and penetrating new SI partners within the IT staffing ecosystem
- Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies aligned with Artech’s integrated sales and marketing plans
- Partner with the Vice President and senior leadership to launch regional and national strategic initiatives
- Actively participate in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and business planning
- Serve as executive sponsor for key SI accounts, engaging directly with C-level and senior delivery stakeholders
- Lead complex sales cycles including MSAs, SOWs, pricing models, and volume-based staffing programs
- Identify cross-sell and expansion opportunities across staff augmentation, project delivery, and managed services
- Ensure strong account governance, performance tracking, and client satisfaction
- Personally drive new logo acquisition and strategic SI partnerships
- Prepare and deliver executive-level sales presentations tailored to SI and enterprise client needs
- Take ownership of high-value opportunities, stepping in to close deals and structure innovative staffing solutions
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team with a focus on SI and enterprise staffing
- Set clear sales goals, territories, and account priorities aligned with business objectives
- Mentor and coach sales leaders, translating business strategy into actionable team deliverables
- Implement performance management frameworks, KPIs, and incentive programs
- Manage branch-level P&L, including revenue, gross margin, and operating expenses
- Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets
- Ensure operational alignment by coordinating with recruiting, delivery, finance, and compliance teams
- Establish repeatable processes to scale sales execution and ensure consistent performance
- 10+ years of IT staffing industry experience
- Proven success managing and growing client accounts within staffing and services
- Demonstrated experience owning a branch, regional, or portfolio-level P&L
- Strong background in enterprise sales and complex deal structures
- Experience working across commercial, government, and SI-driven programs (preferred)
- Track record of building, leading, and scaling sales teams
- Executive presence with the ability to influence senior client stakeholders
- Exceptional negotiation, forecasting, and strategic planning skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, results-driven approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Deep understanding of SI delivery models, MSP/VMS environments, and non-VMS staffing strategies
- Experience expanding staffing programs into multi-service or multi-geo engagements
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with a focus on profitable growth
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels
