H KILN Operator Weekend 2nd shift

• Export-Controlled Data This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items

• Loads/Unloads cores in setters and/or saggers per PC instructions
• Loads/Unloads setters and/or saggers onto kiln beds.
• Pyrometric cones/temp check tabs
• Transfers setters into and out of setter storage area.
• Evaluate setters for serviceability.
• Loads/Unloads core into prebake and anneal oven per PC instructions
• Periodically records data from kilns.
• Immediately reports any apparent malfunctions of the kilns
• Accurately records all data as required and assures that all previous operations have been completed
• Prolonged exposure to radiant heat from furnaces, hot vessels, hot metal, and hot tasks where there is a clear sensation of warmth on the skin for at least 15 minutes.
• Performs other duties as directed by facilitators
• Maintain clean work area
• Observe safety policies and regulations

• Employees in this role are expected to work on all holidays that occur during their scheduled work week.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
• Mental and visual attention
• Perform to productivity and quality standards
• Ability to safely work in a team-oriented environment
