The holistic development of piston systems and cylinder components has been a core competence  deep understanding of interactions between engine components is key to delivering optimal solutions to our customers. MAHLE powertrain products are used around the globe in two‑wheeler vehicles, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and large engines. Development and production of high‑quality engine systems and components for motorsports, supercars and high‑performance vehicles as well as large and small engine components for leading engine manufacturers are also an integral part of this business unit.

Electronics and mechatronics components play a crucial role in enhancing powertrain efficiency and the transition towards e‑mobility. With its electric drives, power electronics, control units, actuators and auxiliaries, MAHLE provides a broad offering of innovative solutions for electrification.

• Determine delivery frequency with vendors to optimize inventory
• Create and modify vendor schedules based on delivery frequency
• Maintain inventory levels according to plan
• Establish and maintain work instructions
• Track deliveries of internationally supplied components
• Participate in vendor visits and audits, as necessary
• Assist with cycle counts and/or annual physical inventory
• Coordinate inventory transitions for product engineering changes
• Calculate monthly delivery performance
• Conduct monthly physical count of consignment inventory
• Provide consignment inventory quantities to vendors at month end
• Initiate and resolve vendor non‑conformances and chargebacks for logistic reasons
• Resolve vendor delivery issues and determine the necessity of expedited freight
• Identify internal inventory discrepancies and manage the resolution
• Process vendor return deliveries
• Receiving of all components and non‑inventory items into MMS
• Track and order all non‑inventory items and packaging as needed
• Required to use a pallet jack, forklift, and stock picker
• Create material master Warehouse Management Views
• Fill storeroom supply list
• Pack and label components for storage/shipment
• Analyze hold shelf for component issues

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training
• Advanced Excel and Word skills
