Spherion is hiring Machine Operators and Inspectors immediately for an automobile parts manufacturing company in Morristown, TN. This position provides opportunity for career training & advancement, pay increases and benefits.

This is a Temp to Perm position paying every week.

Pay Range: $16.40 to $18.27

• 1st 7:00am - 5:30pm
• 2nd 2:00pm - 10:30pm
• 3rd 8:00pm - 7:30am

• The set-up and operation of machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations.
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Must be able to move about in and around machinery and between lines.
• Frequently moves/lifts up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Constantly position self to run/maintain machinery (stooping, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling).
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Ability to read and write the English language.
• Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn in proper manner at all times.
• Must have specific vision abilities to include: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to work varying shifts and overtime.

• Communicate verbally and in writing with a good command of the English language
• Experience with basic hand tools is preferred

• Ability to stand for 8-10hour shift.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
