Machining Technician
We are looking for a talented Machining Technician to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN.
Job Summary:
Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure Safety:
By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you'll help maintain a safe work environment. - Report Incidents:
Promptly reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards will contribute to a proactive safety culture. - Compliance:
Adhering to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations ensures that all safety and environmental guidelines are met. - Use PPE:

Education, Licenses,
Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
The key qualifications for this position:
- Experience operating CNC machines: 1 to 3 years
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments.
• Basic math skills (decimals, fractions, tolerances)
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
