• ensure the highest level of productivity in a cost-efficient manner.
• supervise, coach and train employees, providing professional development through ongoing feedback of strengths and needed improvement.
• promote safety throughout assigned work area.
• develop and maintain employee relationships while promoting company values (i.e., good attendance, strong work ethic, etc.).
• ensure compliance with established food safety programs, including haccp, ssops and gmps.
• plan and implement process improvements.
• all other relevant duties as assigned.

• bachelor degree in a related field of study preferred.
• 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience.
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• proficient technology, computer, mathematical and analytical skills.
• general knowledge of production operations.
• working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, osha guidelines, gmps and haccp.

• typical office environment within a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
• frequently sit for long periods.
• occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• may be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), co2, and moving production lines.
• may be exposed to damp, wet, and cold environments.
• work around live and/or raw animal odors.
