CNC Machinist
Shift: 1st Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Pay: $20.00–$30.00 per hour
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC programming and machining experience, be proficient with Mastercam, and be comfortable operating both CNC and manual machinery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality, precise work.
Responsibilities- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines
- Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam
- Operate both CNC and manual machines
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Select appropriate tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining processes
- Perform accurate measurements and inspections throughout the machining process
- Use machinist measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Work with measurements in both standard (SAE) and metric systems
- Make machine adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and accuracy
- Perform machine setups, tool changes, and offsets
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow established quality control and safety procedures
- Complete work efficiently while meeting production and quality standards
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist required
- Must be capable of programming with Mastercam
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes
- Experience operating both CNC and manual machines
- Proficient with machinist measuring devices, including tools such as:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Gauges
- Other precision measuring instruments
- Ability to accurately measure and work in both metric and standard measurements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- $20.00–$30.00/hour, based on experience and skill level
- 1st shift
- Full-time position
