Summary of Position:
This position is responsible for inspecting parts per visual casting inspection work standards.
Job Duties
- Conduct visual quality checks per standard work instructions.
- Complete gauge checks.
- Manage shot blast machine
- Complete required paperwork.
- Frequently moves/lifts up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
- Constantly position self to run/maintain die cast machinery (stooping, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling).
- Maintain 5S of multiple die cast machines.
- Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn in proper manner at all times.
- Ability to read and write the English language.
- Withstand extreme temperatures (hot in summer, cold in winter).
- Must be able to move about in and around machinery and between lines.
- Ability to work varying shifts and overtime.
