Kawasaki Tennessee, Inc. is currently looking for a Machining Night Shift (3rd Shift) Team Leader to help guide operations in our Aluminum Die Casting facility. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll work directly with the production team to keep machining operations running safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards. We are hiring for 3 positions currently.

As a Machining Team Leader, you'll play a key role in keeping the machining department operating smoothly and safely.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting the Machining Department team
• Monitoring production activities and helping the team meet department goals
• Ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and helping improve them when needed
• Assisting with machine setups and tool changes
• Troubleshooting machines and assisting with repairs
• Performing preventative maintenance and routine machine checks
• Maintaining Safety and Quality standards
• Participating in continuous improvement and Kaizen activities, including defect investigations, cost-saving ideas, and process improvements
• Supporting additional operational needs as assigned

• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Is willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Kanban experience is a plus
• Previous leadership experience is ideal

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, squatting, and lifting
• Regular computer use
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
