PM Shift: 6 PM to 7 AM. Must be able to scrub and circulate.

The Registered Nurse in Surgical Services is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care across the perioperative continuum. This includes providing thorough assessments, competent nursing care, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

• Perform comprehensive and systematic patient assessments from Pediatric to Geriatric.
• Deliver direct patient care, demonstrating competent clinical skills in a surgical setting.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation per nursing guidelines.
• Exhibit professionalism, adhering to policies and procedures while promoting a positive work environment.
• Ensure patient safety by following National Patient Safety Goals and using safe transfer techniques.
• Provide individualized patient care based on procedure type and anesthesia considerations.
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and instructions.
• Assist in the completion of Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders as necessary.

• Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience required.
• Current BLS and RN License required.
• ACLS certification required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
