  Competently assess patients across all stages of growth and development, from Pediatric to Geriatric, ensuring systematic, comprehensive, and accurate evaluations.
• Clinical
  
  Skills:
  
  Demonstrate competent clinical skills by performing direct patient care activities, supporting patient care delivery, and providing appropriate nursing care. Be knowledgeable about emergency equipment and procedures.
• Documentation:
  Maintain complete and accurate documentation, assuming primary responsibility for documenting nursing processes and patient progress, including patient education.
• Professionalism:
  Exhibit professionalism by understanding policies and procedures and identifying areas for clinical and professional growth.
• Patient Satisfaction:
  Respond professionally and courteously to patients, families, and co-workers, promoting a patient-centered environment while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Safety:
  Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals, using safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics, and identifying patients using two identifiers.
• Unit Specific Job Function:
  Demonstrate knowledge of surgical conditions, procedures, and equipment, tailoring patient care according to the procedure and anesthesia type.
• Responsibility and Accountability:
  Contribute to the perioperative team by prioritizing patient care based on needs and condition changes.
• Patient Education and Chart Completion:
  Include patients and family members in teaching, performing pre-operative and postoperative assessments and education.
• Duties Specific to PAT RN:
  Support timely completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders for appropriateness.

• 2 years of critical care experience - Required
• RN License - Required
• BLS - Required
• ACLS - Required

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
