Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey’s largest non‑profit healthcare networks, is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to join the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute, Cardiothoracic Surgery Program at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. The position is based in the 24‑bed Critical Care unit and focuses on pre‑operative and post‑operative care of cardiac surgery patients, working closely with surgeons, intensivists, NPs and PAs.

The role offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing, well‑established team.

• Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care for cardiac surgery patients in the Critical Care unit.
• Perform central line placements, arterial line insertions, and other procedural interventions.
• Initiate and order appropriate diagnostic tests and therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including surgeons, intensivists, NPs and PAs.
• Assist with hemodynamic support and critical care management.

• Master’s degree as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
• NP or PA Certification and NJ License required.
• DEA and CDS certifications required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2‑3 years of Critical Care or Cardiothoracic Surgery experience.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as part of a team.
