We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join a fast-paced maternity care team. This role is ideal for candidates with strong clinical assessment skills, labor and delivery experience, and the ability to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process.

Role Overview:
The Labor & Delivery RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients. The RN will monitor maternal and fetal well‑being, assist during labor and delivery procedures, provide patient education, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments throughout labor and delivery
- Monitor fetal heart tones, contractions, and patient status during labor
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as ordered
- Assist physicians and healthcare teams during deliveries and obstetric procedures
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families during labor and postpartum care
- Assess and respond appropriately to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with hospital policies
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Educate patients on labor, delivery, recovery, newborn care, and discharge instructions
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
- Demonstrate professionalism, critical thinking, and compassionate patient‑centered care
Requirements:
- Active RN License required
- Current BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Previous Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Strong fetal monitoring, assessment, and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication, patient education, and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced maternity care environment
