Role Description
  • Lead sales strategy and execution for Accenture's insurance platform business across the US market.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing enterprise deals with insurance carriers – P&C, Life & Annuities, Broking and MGAs.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
  • Own and exceed annual sales targets (xx$ per annum)
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of insurance platform opportunities
  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles from prospecting through contract closure
  • Develop account strategies for target insurance carriers (P&C, Life, Health)
  • Coordinate with Accenture's broader account teams and C-suite relationships
Solution Selling
  • Position Ecosystem insurance platform offerings (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, EIS, Earnix and any other new partners)
  • Articulate Accenture’s platform modernization value propositions including digital transformation and legacy system replacement
  • Lead RFP responses and proposal development, contract negotiations & signature
Relationship Management
  • Cultivate relationships with CIOs, COOs, CTOs, and business leaders of Insurers
  • Partner with insurance platform vendors and ecosystem partners
  • Collaborate with Accenture delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs
Thought Leadership
  • Representing Accenture at industry events, conferences, and forums
  • Stay current on insurance technology trends and competitive landscape
Required Skills Core Sales Skills
  • Insurance platforms selling expertise
  • Proven track record closing deals xxx$
  • Strong negotiation and contract management abilities
  • Executive presence and stakeholder management
Insurance Domain Knowledge
  • Understanding of insurance operations (policy admin, billing, claims, underwriting)
  • Knowledge of insurance regulatory environment (state regulations, compliance)
  • Familiarity with insurance business models and market segments
  • Understanding of insurance value chains and distribution channels
Technology & Platform Expertise
  • Knowledge of major insurance platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek or equivalent etc.)
  • Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
  • Awareness of digital transformation trends (AI/ML, APIs, microservices)
  • Familiarity with legacy modernization approaches
Business Acumen
  • Strategic thinking and solution design capabilities
  • Market analysis and competitive intelligence
  • Change management awareness

Travel:
As needed, up to 80%

Job Qualifications Required Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years total professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in insurance technology sales or consulting
  • Minimum of 3 years selling insurance platforms or enterprise software
Bonus Points if you have
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience selling to insurance carriers (P&C, Life & Annuity)
  • Background in platform implementation (helpful but not required)
  • Prior experience at consulting firms, insurance platform vendors, SIs
  • Track record of managing $10M+ in annual pipeline
  • Proven track record of quota attainment (120%+ preferred)
